Happy THursday LHCF,

4th of JULY weekend is here what are you ladies doing going to
The :beach: or

:club:

I just got in from getting my hair done, I got a Relaxer, Cut and Deep Conditioner. I didn't get my color this time maybe I will try again to do it myself. I used my Favorite Motions Relaxer system which I take to the stylist to apply, I had about 2 inches trimmed :), I had a deep conditoner and she flat ironed it in curls. I am very pleased.

Happy 4th of July to all, be safe!

So What Are Your Hair Plans? :)

I will be trying out my new shampoo and conditioner (aquage sea extend line) and dc'ing overnight with kerastase before I do my usual blow dry and flat iron.

I think today, Thursday, I will put in a rinse and twist --flat twists in the front and flat twists in the back for a twist out. For the weekend, re-moisturize and re-twist every night to keep the look going for the holiday :)

I'm twisting as I type & will be keeping my hair in some sort of updo for the next 2 weeks as the temps hit 90+ in NYC.:yep:

I will be doing my Joico 17 minute miracle routine and assessing any damage due to not combing, washing or conditioning my hair for 3 weeks

I will then blow dry and flat iron my hair for my weekend in Las Vegas!

Taking out these box braids. It's going to take me more than three days though...I braided these so long!!

Well thankfully Saturday will be week 19 of my 20 week stretch, so I'll be relaxing in one week :woot::trampolin:headspin::pulpdance:

- Clarify hair with Elucence Volume Clarifying Shampoo
- Hard protein, either Elucence Extended Moisture Repair Treatment (tried and true) or Aphogee 2-step (never used before, would need to purchase)
- Steam for an hr with Elucence Moisture Balancing Conditioner mixed with avocado oil, kukui nut oil, JBCO and silk amino acids
-Airdry using the following leave-ins: Shescentit Moisture Mist, HE LTR leave-in, Redken Anti-Snap (ends only) and Elucence Silk Hydrating Elixir (on roots only; helps lay roots flat when using the scarf method).
-Braidout using satin strips and a lil Bee Mine Curly Hold Butter

co-wash & deep condition but unsure which products to use. I'm being extremely low maintenance this summer.

FOR SOME STRANGE reason I do this every year, I go through a 3 week hiatus, where I do nothing to my hair, I get some hair out of course but my hair thrived and grew alot in those three weeks for some strange reason. I am actually going to plan my 3 week hiatus this year incase I forget :lachen:

^^:lachen::lachen:

You know, there is absolutely no damage to my hair :yay:

I may have to reassess my transition to texlaxed 'cause it took me an hour to blow dry my hair and this breaking hair bands, combs and brushes is for the birds!:nono:

I'll be trying to figure out my hair now that it's 100% natural. Wish me luck. I BC'D on Tuesday and Wednesday I wanted to get a relaxer. :perplexed I am going to spend the weekend experimenting with twist outs. So far my twistouts have sucked. I need a style other than a puff that I can leave the house with.:ohwell:

I get my relaxer next week friday!!! :happydance: so in preparation for that I am going to
-clarify with herbal essence
-do moisturizing shampoo with nexxus
-aphogee 2 step protein treatment
-DC with bee mine dc and nexxus hydrating treatment (finishing up the nexxus)
-Apply my bee mine leave ins and rollerset. dry on low heat.
-throw in some pin curls so i can sleep comfortably
annnd thats it. i cant wait for next week!

I am heading out of town for a wedding and family reunion this weekend so I wanted to press my hair and wear it down....BUT life got super busy this week and there was no time for the wash/DC/blowdry/flatiron routine - so it got washed and got some leave-in and thrown in a ponytail instead :ohwell: FAIL.

Friday- Side swept or updo curlies after a cowash-- going partying for my sis in law's bday.

Saturday- Deep Con b/c we're going swimming that day

Sunday- Curly Fro for NATIONAL AFRO DAY! :D http://www.curlynikki.com/2010/06/national-afro-day.html

Monday- I am off work :yay: So I will likely cowash and wear like my siggy pic.

I plan to pick up some Tresemme Naturals Condish and other products since I haven't been product shopping in a while.

I'm contemplating purchasing and using this for the first time ever this Saturday. I know once you put the treatment in your hair heat needs to be applied in order for it to harden, this is the step that confuses me. I know you're not supposed to touch your hair at all during that phase, so how would you get under the dryer without the suction from the dryer disturbing your hair? Or do you use a blowdryer?

^^^ Anyone that uses that product is free to chime in. Thanks!

On Friday and Saturday I will be still rocking my twistout.

I am going to do my bi-monthly wash on Sunday.

I will Detangle with HV Moist 24/7
Then wash in plaits with KBB Hair Shampoo
DC under steamer with Mozeke Protein Carrot Mask for 30 min
Wash out in shower, spritz Redken Extreme CAT treatment, wash out after 10 min
Bun using KBB hair milk as a leave-in and Fantasia Sparkle-Lites to slick back baby hairs.

I've been wearing a wash n go for about 10 days now. I'm starting to get alot of single strand knots, and I just trimmed the beginning of this month :nono: So I guess I'll put some twists in this wknd.

Gonna take my weave down finally! Might do a double bun or something till I decide when and what hair Im gonna install :-/
