CG method (you would have to PRY my Silicon Mix/cone laced products out of my hands when I'm dead!)

Anti-Mineral Oil (love Silicon Mix too much for that!)

No Poo (that's just gross to me)

Baggying(too lazy)

Anti-Parabens( sounds like a crock of sh*t to me; sorry, but I would like for my products to NOT spoil after 3 days)

Sulfate Free Shampoo (well I actually tried it and it turned out to be an epic FAIL)

Shea butter mixes for moisture (Shea butter does not moisturize my hair at ALL!!)

"Natural" online hair companies (too damn expensive and I like going to the store to smell/see the product before purchasing)

ETA: No heat challenges (my relaxed hair THRIVED when I was blowdrying/flatironing my hair weekly and getting Dominican blowouts occasionally and I have straightened my natural hair since October at least 5x without any heat damage so far)

Stone me now because I definitely have spoken blasphemy to some of you guys!

scritching/scratching scalp

baggying left my hair a soggy mess

finger combing-never worked on my kinky thick dense hair

2) Miconazole Nitrate applied to scalp for growth--lately tempted, but didn't plunge.
3) Getting microbraids--no one can ever talk me into this one...not after the resultant horrid edges I've seen! (and the days-long takedown)
4) Using a steamer--this is a good idea, but at this point I'm just lazy and low maintenance w/my hair...might do this in the future.
5) Henna/Indigo/Cassia (just haven't tried but may at some point).

8) Constant trimming "for growth" (ok that's just b.s.)

Maybe this is just me but I don't see anything that wrong with bandwagons. I think they're nice, especially for people who are just starting out...I notice its always the people with their regimens down completely that turn their noses up at bandwagons but how else are you supposed to know what works for your hair if you don't experiment? Not everyone has their hair act together

I've been low/no poo, prepooing (I called it "distracting the shampoo" before LHCF ), and ACV rinsing for years. So to learn new products and techniques should be more encouraged, instead of written off as following.

But of course, for me this excludes some of the sheer insanity. I'm still trying to recover from the breast milk thing I heard last night.
