I didn't know Shima's products were hot in the streets like that....

Yea, she does have some good advice but I'm not so sure about the products either. So I can't speak bad about them because I have tried them.

She was annoying. Couldn't watch the whole thing. I didn't want to see extensions, I wanted to see some Shima-hair!

She reminds me of Rev. Run's daughters.

Yeaaah!!! she does remind me of them.

But peep how...I have long hair for a black woman...but then turn around and say all black women can grow long hair? Am I the only one that peeped that?

I just watched the video...why in the hayle was that 22 minutes??? I seriously think she made that video because she wants people to talk smack about her, so I'm not giving her the satisfaction.

What's wrong with that? Most black women have short hair...and she DOES have long hair for a black woman. But it is PROBABLY possible for most black women to grow long hair. It makes sense.:yep:

I'm assuming most of you didn't get to the part where she went on that rant about how great and amazing her hair is and always has been.

Or that her EXTENSIONS (approx. :43) are rough and tough.

Glad the product works for those who purchase it, that's what counts.

Ah yes "My real hair is better than my extensions, I mean OMG who's hair does that?" I know I'm paraphrasing, Miss Girl is a piece of work. At the end of the day, didn't make me want to try the product.

Hey *CherryPie* :wave:

I think you missed @empressri's point: if that girl in the video is saying she has long hair for a black woman, she's implying most black women have shorter hair, right? But then she went on to say that all black women can grow long hair. So if we have the capability, then she's not that special if she can grow her hair long too.

right. i don't think there's anything odd or offensive about what she said.

See I can see both sides of that issue. I didn't watch the video but just from the posts I can see how each side can get their interpretation but I suppose if she wasn't being cocky, then rewording would have been better but who knows, maybe she got a little cocky and forgot she was trying to motivate people to buy...Just what I got from it.:yep:

I'm not afraid of anyone.

I've ordered it...and more than once. It is actually a very nice oil. A light oil... something like Mizani Supreme Oil. The only problem for me was that it was kind of expensive to keep in my rotation, but I WOULD buy it again. The oils were good ones and it smells so good...I would buy it for the smell alone. I can see how if you used it repeatedly it'd do your hair good.

I could care less what people have to say about Shima. She's a sister trying to help people. Her hair is beautiful and she tells it like it is. She's kind of funny in her videos too.

I've used her Shima oil before and I liked it. It's a little lighter than I like though. I prefer heavier oils.

Don't know much about Shima but the woman in the video's presentation does not make me want to get a bottle of shima anything :(

My thing is she said Shima's oil made her hair gorgeous, but it was already gorgeous? Then, she felt like Shima's products would help her grow her hair back to long, but she's already grown long hair? Theeeen, Shima's hair cream is great for slicking down edges, but she had a fresh relaxer so her edges were already slicked?

Shima needs to ask her to take that tomfoolery down...

they do? ive never really noticed that honestly, ive seen black women with long hair, short hair and everything in between all my life.

I wasn't go say nothin, but what had happened was I just wanna know some stuff

1. How can you determine that something is the best product you've used in your entire life after six days of use?

2. Why do a testimonial for a growth aid while wearing a weave?
~~~~~~~~~
I'm actually glad for the people who spent their hard earned and like the product that they received. That said, the selling point of Shima's oil is that it grew her hair from shoulder to waist length in 8 months and I haven't read/watched a testimonial outside of her website claiming anything near that.
I used to be subscribed to this girl's channel, but some of her vids seem inappropriate. I don't think she was paid, Shima's oil obviously works well for some. I just hope that this girl's mother monitors what her daughter puts on YT. There are too many crazies out there to have your teen showing her behind on YT.
