I'm officially on a personal no buy challenge now after spending a bomb last month. I just hope it was worth it. Guess I'll find out when my Oyin products arrive.
 
Im about to go into nonstop protective styles for awhile (camp counselor and twice weekly swimming) so im interested in braid sprays and detanglers, on top of my usual love for conditioners of any kind. Lets get started with these sales!
 
Thanks NappyRina for starting this thread.....It's June and Phyto usually has a Summer Friends and Family sale. Although, I've purchased from them and signed up for email notifications, I never get them. I usually count on Solitude to post in the vendor forum when their sale starts.

I noticed that too as of lately..why is that? I contacted Duafenaturals via Fb and asked why their shipping is so high. they had a 35% of sale but after shipping was added,it was like where'd my discount go. 35% off is a decent sale or at least I thought so before them shipping charges were added. LOL I had to take something out of my cart. LOL They said shipping has gone up and they charge 1.00 more that what it cost for packaging materials plus they sale butters and they would go broke trying to do flat rate shipping w/ pounds of butters being sold and shipped. If they could charge flat rate on the finished products w/o offering a flat rate to the butters, they would. This reason works for this company but for the others, it don't.

I thought 7.95 would be the highest shipping I'd see but I guess not. When shipping is 9.00 and some change, 7.95 looks good. LOL

@ the bolded. This makes no sense. Did the P.O. tell them they couldn't ship the butters flat rate? Their slogan is "If it fits, it ships". Lots of other vendors ship their butters flat rate. Why can't they?

I can't stand when vendors lie about their shipping rates!!!

i thought 10.00 was steep but 11.25 takes the cake That's almost the cost of another product smh just imagine

I don't think he lied...meaning people would try to get 50lbs of butters w/ flat rate shipping. I know wholesale companies do not ship their products flat rate.

Maybe I explained it wrong...

Me, either. There are a few vendors that pique my interest, but their wack sales and/or high shipping rates prevent me from sampling their wares (which is a shame because my addiction causes me to buy in bulk:lol:).

Seems like they are still having shipping problems and will now be using both UPS (reliable according to them) & Postal USPS (at your own risk according to them) ...
