I am a HUGE fan of my stylist Reniece and she had recently updated her ablbum to include her "Healthy Hair Makeovers" that chronicles her weave clients hair growth progress from wearing sewn in weaves. She has 6 clients I believe featured and their progress is truly amazing!!!

I think this will be inspirational for the ladies who ask about growth with weaves on LHCF... it seems as though in Reniece's hands your hair will grow down your back!

Check it out... www.reniece.com

Wow I am floored by her results . Thats some of the most remarkable progress Ive seen in awhile  Kudos to her for being on point about healthy haircare for her clients!:yep:

she is great i wonder when she starts taking apointments again??

I would think about flying up to get my weave done.

Bluediamond,

I've never gotten a weave from her (she's been gracious to do my relaxers although that's not her specialty) but I think I read that she has an out of town client that keeps her weaves in for 3 months at a time.

When I went to my appointment the other day she said that she will be taking a few months maternity leave off so she won't be accepting new clients for a while...

Thanks for posting. Her talent makes me wish I lived near her salon:cry2:

BTW...I went to your Fotki first...and...your hair is making me

oh ok yea i just read that she recommends 2 to 3 months for weaves.

oh wow she is expecting thats great!

Wasnt her sister also doing hair now?

OMG, Reniece is AMAZING! Oh, how I wish I lived in her area. Off to search for what relaxer she uses on her clients.

Your hair is amazing!!!

On another note....where do we get those jeans featured in your first fotki?! Now, that's hott!! They look better than my PZI jeans.

OH.MY.GOD !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's absolutely friggin amazing !!!!
Jeeez, i wish i could have an appointment with her.
I wonder what regimen she recommends/uses on her client (those who use weave and those that don't)

I'm currently doing a Healthy Hair Make-Over with Reniece, coming up on my 6-month progress check. She is definitely the BEST stylist I have ever had. I will definitely be going to her sister Bre while she is on maternity leave.

Her work is AMAZING!! Doe she teach her clients how to take care of their own hair while the weave is in?

Yes, we discuss my regimen at each appointment and she tells me what I should and shouldn't be doing to my hair. She also has basic care instructions on her site.

Woah!
I'm not even lying when I say what she's done for some of those before-after women is nothing short of a miracle. It's so funny how their ENTIRE looks change for the better once their hair turned healthy! AMAZING!!!:yep:

I didn't know she was expecting. Congrats to her.

Absolutely gorgeous results! I love seeing healthy hair, be it natural or relaxed. Her techniques are wonderful and I am so glad that she focuses on health. If more women can just get to the point of thinking of healthy hair first, length always comes as wonderful side effect. :)
