So - I followed the leadof everyone here - put ACV on with out rinsing after my shampoo - and DC'd!

I just ACV'd tonight.
I am sitting under my dryer with a ponytail rollerset.

It made my curls clump together beautifully.

I may have to go back to using ACV. Haven't in years. You applied the ACV then applied your DC?
