Hey Ladies,

Im so excited to share my story with everyone here, cause honestly i dont think anyone will get it like you guys. So0o0o0 i have always had long hair but it was always very thin, not only that but it stayed at the same length for how many years. i found LHCF last year March and started on my hair journey. My hair got healthier and longer and i was finally beginning to be happy with it. Then my family decided to go on a cruise. And becasue of the fact that i would be swiming and idk.. frolicking in sun lol i needed a no fuss hair style.

So0o0o i put my hair in braids... i kept my hair in braids when i went back to college. Needless to say due to me being stupid and washing my hair before i detangled properly i had a major set back.:wallbash:so a stylist cut my hair into a bob... i cried for weeks.lol

I cut my hiar in October and since thn i have been growing my hair back out. Very stict regime.. no relaxer, cowashing, deep condish, washing once a week, wet buns, low manip hairstyles, sealing, moisturizing and no combing. Lol i know i know its a lot.

This was my hair in January.. 3 mos after i cut into a bob.

Then college caught up with me so i did not get to take pics until this week which makes 8 mo. DRUM ROLL PLEASE!!!!

Whats realy funni and completely gratifing is that my mother and sister are finally taking me serious.:grin: The same ones who were giving me crazy eyes when i was walkn around the house in a shower cap are the same ones who have their hand all up and through my hair. My mom bever missed a chance to "school" me on the fact that my hair would drop off id i didnt stop washing it so much, and now shes the one telling everyone to feel my hair and look how long it is... its funni *** opinions change..huh??:drunk:
 
Girl, that's a lot of progress. I guess you showed them better than you can tell them. Sorry about the previous set back.
 
Thank you soooooooo much for posting this, I'm 5 months into a 9 month stretch. I am sooo tempted half the time to relax and I'll literally tell my DH and BFF to please talk me out of it and keep reminding me of why I'm doing this stretch. Your hair looks great, you've done a great job! Keep up the good work.
 
Absolutely Gorgeous!! Wow. You really grow alot of hair from March - June. I hope I can get that much growth by Sept/Oct.:look::perplexed:look:

That is alot of progress....good for you, girl!
 
Your hair looks so healthy and beautiful. Congratulations & continued success. Very inspiring.

BTW: My mom & daughters were the same way. Complaining because I am either on LHCF, doing some kind of hair treatment, or shopping for a new hair product. But now that my hair has made lots of progress (which I hope to post pics of soon)..They are like ..."sooo.....how do you do that.. what is that/this for again" My oldest daughter wont even let anyone else on her hair now.
 
Unbelievable!!!!!!!!!!!! I do not even get that much growth in over a year! Amazing progress and your hair is BEAUTIFUL - thick and healthy. Nice ends.
 
Wow! Thats some amazing growth. You know you're even longer than that because you haven't relaxed yet. I'm also impressed and encouraged to bun by the health of your ends.
