I AM TOO OLD???????

So I am a new here and to this process and I am NL grazing SL....I guess I need inspiration because my girlfriend who has shoulder length hair always says that we are too old to be starting a hair journey talking bout we wanna be WL....she has a beautiful head of hair and its so healthy and my hair is healthy too but I long for something I have never had and that is health plus length....

To make a long story short if you began your journey after the age of lets say 27 (I know so old right!) Can you show me your progress or direct me to your fotki????

I need some inspiration and the proof that you don't have to be a baby (or less than 25) to have dreams of SL-WL-HL hair.

there are many ladies in their 30's and 40's here starting their journey. you're pretty young imo.

In my opinion, you're never too old to start a HHJ. It's not a question of how old you are, it's how you care for your hair.

That's crazy! I've seen some gorgeous fotkis of women well into their 60's who've recently started their hair journeys. No age is too old to start taking excellent care of your hair!

But be glad you're starting early (and 27 is nowhere near old! )! I'm 22, and i can't wait until my grays come in. I can't wait to have a healthy head of silver waist length hair!!!

As long as your hair is still growing (and it grows from birth to death) you can still start your hair journey.

I know there are several women in their 40's and 50's here (not that that's old at all). Sylver2 comes to mind.

Listen up now! Don't even bother to let people tell you how THEY think you should define your life and what you do with it. They will be more interested in keeping things status quo, the same as usual, while you are trying to improve yourself in every area. Be confident that what YOU want to do is right for you. Period! I started my hair journey here at 36 after a hair hating greedy beautician messed up my hair on purpose and took my APL length hair to about 2 inches all over. Now I'll be at waistlength this time next year for my 40th birthday. Allways DO You and you'll never go wrong.

I will be 27 tomorrow (btw, that's not old at all) I actually started my journey a couple of years ago. Goals should be based on things that you would like to achieve...age shouldn't be a factor

I started at 45. I am now 49 and it has been one of the most wonderful "projects" of my life to see the healthy progress over the years. As well, so many people come to me for consultations from my friends 12 year old daughter to my 77 year old mom. It has been very rewarding and it is never too late for any kind of healthy self-improvement.

You're never too old to have a beautiful head of hair. I started on this journey two years ago after my daughter went away to college!! I really didn't have time to be thinking about hair back then. But now I'm taking the time to learn how to keep all my hair healthy, long, and beautiful-gray hair included!!
