I haven't been on LHCF for a long time...Work and moving has taken over my life.. But i did want to post progress pics and ask for advice.

In the begininng (BC in April '09)

4 to 5 months a later

And today.. I lightly flat ironed it and trimed .5 an inch off.

Now for the advice ....... Naturals that press with a hot comb? Is it better do do with a stove and hot comb or an electric one and which ones are best.. Which serums are best?

Thanks and enjoy....

Thanks guys! Um.. I don't really have a skin care routine.. I do use St Ives Apricot scrub religiously because of my oily skin..and clinique's dramatically different mosturizing gel. I do a light skin peel a few times a year.

I'm loving your hair..
So Shiny.
I can't wait for more
of your updates.
And the others are quiet
right, you are very pretty.

I swear black women are sooo pretty. Any whoo! Your hair looks great :)

I see great progress! so whatever U are doing seems to be working....keep up the good work.

Great hair progress but I must say you look fabulous with short hair. I love the photo with black shirt and short hair.

Your progress pix look great! Your hair looks extremely healthy. I don't use either hot combs. When I straighten my hair out I'll use CHI's Silk Infusion along with my chi iron and it comes out pretty straight.

Excellent pics...love your skin and you are a beautiful cocoa diva!

As far as "pressing" I would stick with a pressing creme---like Dudley's or UltraSheen.

I would start with clean hair, use a spray in heat protectant and a keratin spray(aphogee).
Let my hair dry overnight
Press with a stovetop(I am old school)UltraSheen Presssing creme or whatever pressing cream you chose to use.
HTH.
