Its been a year and a half and I continue to learn oh so much about my natural hair. My hair is thick and my current struggle is detangling. I am presently trying out new hair products that may assist me in detangling my 4a/3c hair. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Way to grow, Girl! ^5!
Beautiful, healthy-looking hair!

Your hair is very beautiful! Reminds me of my own.

The very best advice that I can give you is to buy deep conditioners with behementrium sulfate. This ingredient provides soooooo much slip its ridiculous. The deep conditioner I currently use is Dominican. I believe its called baba de carcol (yellow and white with a picture of a snail). If you wet your hair and apply this on your hair with a plastic cap and sit under the dryer; by the time you detangle it should be very easy.

Excellent progress! Your hair has a beautiful shape to it.

love it! what do you use for your wash n go?

great progress btw

I co-wash with suave shea butter and almond. Rinse it out then apply garnier frutis sleek in shine leave in. After that I apply herbal essence tousle me softly fininish cream using the shingling method with my fingers only. I blow dry with a diffuser to get the volume and length.
