19 Months Post And Snipped...

I was in the Long Term Transitioning thread for awhile (19 months just about) and I cut off my relaxed ends... Did my first wash in go EVER on Saturday and I love it.

Obviously the App for iPhone is no longer available which threw me off my updates because I post pics directly from my phone.

Any who, I've been relaxed for the past 15 years and my last touch up was Oct 2013... My intentions was to do a long a 6 month stretch but I found out I was pregnant and couldn't get a touch up for a long time. Along the way, I realized that I wanted my son to see me in my natural beauty (unaltered hair) so he can grow up loving and seeing the beauty of girls one day with their natural hair.

I cut off 90% relaxed ends the first time and wore a twist now... Saturday I cut off the remaining 10% the gel revealed on my wash n go using Shea Moisture Curl smoothie & Eco styler gel Olive.

I know, but I just texlaxed after a stretch during that same period (18 + months) and I'd be dancing in the streets if I had half as much growth as it appears you had.
