I'm relaxed and right now I'm using mango butter and its good, but I'm sure there's better out there. I haven't quite found something yet, but I'm still looking.

I'm relaxed and I use NTM Silk Touch on dry hair when I wear it straight. I also use Mango Butter (Elasta QP) but only when I wear hair curly. Its too heavy and weighs down my straight hair.

Thanks! I have looked at both of these in stores. The ones I frequent don't seem to be able to keep the EQP mango butter on their shelves, LOL. When I did finally find it, I picked it up then put it back. Thanks for letting me know about the heaviness. I got the same result with S-curl w/straight hair, but it's ok for curly. I'm gonna take another look at the NTM-ST.

Good ones:

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Silk Touch Leave-In
Profectiv Long & Healthy
Profectiv Breakfree
Keracare Jojoba Oil Moisturizer

Im transitioning and I love the Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo and Conditioner... that helps in the long run... also NTM silk leave in... but only on my straight hair.... but my curly hair will suck that up... so if anyone knows a good moisturizer that is good for transitioning hair... Please let me know

I like
NTM Silk Touch leave-in
Elasta QP Intense conditioner

I always add alittle of my fav oils with either of them mixed in my hand and apply it as a hairdress

Natural here:

I now use: Vaseline Intensive Hair Lotion and some Fantasia IC Hair Polisher. My hair never had it so good:grin:

I'm a 3C natural.....I use Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk or Qhemet's Burdock Root Cream, sealed with jojoba oil.

For straight hair I'm still using Qhemet Heavy Cream, after I use that up I don't know what I'll use.

For natural styles I use s-curl or Vaseline Intensive Care lotion.

When I was relaxed I used ORS Olive oil and NTM silk touch leave in

Natural hair I use- Giovanni direct leave in and coconut oil

I use the Total Moisture and no, I don't mix it together. I use the lotion first, then I put on the polisher.

Do you use the VICL on dry hair or wet. I tried it once on dry hair and my hair was like what the heck...maybe I need to get the technique down...

I'm transitioning...
and though I'm not into hair typing
my hair is mostly what would be described as 3c

I've used

ORS in a jar - hate it b/c of mineral oil

Salerm21- it was aiight

Lacio Lacio - it was aiight

Hamadi Shea Leave In - I like the way it smells...it's a bit pricey $20 for a 4 oz jar... best one I had so far... but I think I may find something better

... I hear really great things about Giovanni Direct Leave In

I'm 3 something and I'm relaxed and I use humectress mixed with coconut oil. Meh, I am still looking for a good moisturizer.

I tried Giovanni Direct Leave-In and absolutely LOVE the way it makes my hair feel! And the glossy shine without heaviness is wonderful, too. I also bought NTM. Haven't used it yet. Will test that one out after my next poo bar wash. Thanks again to everyone and their suggestions!

I just started using Cantu Shea butter leave in can I say oh my god! This stuff is the bomb and has good stuff in it too. You can get it at Walmart, kmart riteaid and your local BSS.
