Ok lovely ladies , joined in Jan, been lurking for a few months, and I definitely have a ton of questions, but let's start with the basics.

Right now I'm transitioning (I think) and was wondering if you all could:

a) Tell me do you think this is "scab hair" (last two pics)?

and

b) Help me determine what types my hair is ( thinking there are maybe three different textures on my head).

Vertical part - nape

Vertical part - somewhere in the middle

Vertical part - somewhere in the middle

Vertical part - crown

Horizontal part - just above nape

Horizontal part - ear to ear

Horizontal part @ crown

Unless you cut all of your hair off, you will never know your hair type.
your relaxed ends are weighing down your natural hair, so your natural hair will appear to be looser or even longer at times.

Hair that looks like 3C while transitioning could easily turn out to be 4A.
I know my 3c hair in the front looked like 3a/3b while i was transitioning.

You'd need more new growth to be able to ully discern but I'd say about 4a because of your nape hair.
