Today is wash day and I get to try my new products, satisfying the junkie in me!!

I am particularly excited about this product because of the bamboo ingredient. I love bamboo extract! I really goes the distance at strengthening hair. This product also contains phyto-nutrient maca root. so they are marketing this product as a hair strengthener and thickerner.

Has anyone else purchased any of the Alterna Bamboo line products? If so give us a review.

I've tried these months ago; wasn't impressed so I gave it to my friend who is natural and she didn't like it either. FYI- We used the anti-frizz shampoo, conditioner and oil.

I recently purchased the Silk and Sleek Brillance Cream, Smooth Kendi-Intense Moisture Masque, and the Kendi Dry Oil Mist from the Alterna Bamboo line. I have yet to use the DC, but so far I'm loving the oil mist. I'm relaxed and it gave me just enough shine and moisture, without weighing my hair down AT ALL. I used the Silk and Sleek Brilliance Cream to moisturize my pin curls. It gave me some decent moisture, but it has a weird shimmery product included in it. After using it, my hands look like I just used some bronzer or some other shimmery makeup product! Not a fan of the fake shimmery-shine!
