Ok I'm starting the conditioner wash thing but I usually wear my hair in twists or cornrows. I'm concerned the twists will matt or I won't be able to rinse the conditioner out of the cornrows properly. How do you do it? I'm trying to wear my hair in protective styles, not wear the afro puff so often

Personally I wouldn't advise a conditioner wash with braids, the rare times I wear braids I dilute shampoo when I wash and then spray with a leave-in conditioner. I think the conditioner may cause build-up in the braids/twists which could lead to breakage.

Just my two cents.
