im curious if it permanently straightens the hair. as with a lot of nappys, i would like to retain my length (im actually at shoulder length and my bangs are below my nose, but you would never know unless i stretched it).

i know i cant have the best of both worlds, but hey! i want to keep my texture but retain length

any nappys out there who have tried it? what are your experiences?

I would like to know as well but I do a deep conditioner treatment below that works for me with coconut milk in it, but I might try it with just the milk and lime and see how it turns out!

i actually use the Lustrasilk Shea Butter-Mango-Cholestrol Conditioner also. i dont think i like it that much but it is ok. i have found that herbal essence makes my spirals larger and makes my hair sligthly longer. thats probably because its a richer/ thicker conditioner and i tend not wash all of it out. i wish it werent so much money though

any help, ladies? i know there are nappys out there who have tried it!

I just tried the Coconut/lime relaxer and I must say that it might work but I can't stand all that mess dripping all down my face, I let it sit for like 35min. next time I might get some of those cotton strips to see if that will help with the dripping. But my hair is still soft. I added honey to my mix, I love honey on my hair it really brings out the sheen and curls.

But this is my first experience.

I don't think it permanently straightens. I would like to try this, also. It's on my to try list, which is a mile long these days!
