Anyone grow their are out with wash n go ponytails?

I alternate between a bun and wash n go ponytails (on the days I want to be cute ) and I was wondering if anyone else did this and have the hair retention to prove it?

I mostly wore it in a headband and not a ponytail, but I did wash n gos the entire spring and summer and attribute most of my growth and retention to that. In its shrunken state it didnt rub my clothes but now its starting to so Ill have to switch to ponytails or pinups. You can check my album. Im giving the wash n gos a rest though and I prefer rollersetting or braidouts/twistouts now. I may start them back up in the spring.

Like leslie I've worn a puff (I use a headband) for the last 4 months. I've also been on low manipulation regimen. I wear a puff everyday and only comb my hair once every 2-3 weeks. I credit low manipulation with my thickness and length retention.
