And moved to a strictly hot climate and noticed their hair grew faster? Because they say our hair grows the fastest in the summer

Yep im from NYC now I live jn FLa. Its been almost 3yrs I cant really tell cause I did my BC only 2yrs ago. But my hair is the longest its ever been as an adult (APL). But honestly I knew more longer haired ladies in NY than I see down here. I think healthy hair techniques play a bigger role than climate. Hth:)

OP I still live in a region that has four seasons but I can believe that living in a warmer climate helps with hair growth. Whenever I would go to Florida my skin and hair seemed to do so much better than when I'm in my home town ! I think that maybe it was the humidity that added to the moisture of my skin and hair.

Agreed. I live in NY so we get all types of random weather here lol I always enjoy the summer time because my hair thrives. It grows much healthier, thicker and faster. The humidity plays a factor because it helps our hair to retain moisture. And if you're someone who puts oil on your hair, going out into the sun will allow the oil to penetrate your strands and condition them better

You are correct. I lived in a cold climate that got four seasons, but was actually much more humid than the hotter climate I live in now. My hair was much healthier and less work in the colder, more humid climate.
