I did a treatment 2 weeks ago, and I still haven't seen any noticable difference in my hair.

I followed the step-by-step directions, used the balancing moisturizer, and even clarified first...yet I'm still experiencing breakage. :ohwell:

How long did it take for this to work for you?

I noticed a difference right after I washed it out. I deep conditioned with ORS replenishing pak for 20 min. That was the first time I used it though, back in May when i first discovered lhcf. I've used it once since in august and didn't notice a big difference that time. i think the more damaged your hair is, the bigger impact it will make.

It should work almost immediately. I did the treatment about 2 weeks ago, and it stopped my shedding and breakage right away.

I probably shouldn't have done this but, my hair was breaking so much I was certain that within one more week I would have been bald. I did 3 weeks of extensive protein treatments. The first week I applied the Aphogee Treatment. Week two I used Kerafuse. Week 3 I used Aphogee 2 min Keratin Reconstructor. Believe me when I tell you that breakage came to an abrupt halt. It's been 4 weeks since I did this and I have no breakage, minimal shedding, thickness & no hair loss during washing. I wouldn't recommend this as regimen, only when completely necessary.

That balancing moisturizer sucks... use something else. Like Motions Moisture Plus...something moisturizing

I was eye-ing this in Sally's last week. I'm glad I held out on buying it. I do have the Pro-Vitamin Leave-In though. Though I haven't tried it out yet, the ingredients look promising.

I like the balancing Moisturizer. I think you should try it because it works different for different folk.

Im thinking I might take the plunge with this.

Ive been avoiding this like the plague but .. I havent used heat in about a month and still getting some breakage.

i use it for end maintenance and agree with the other poster that said their balancing moisturizer does absolutely nothing for me.

i'll use aubrey's hsr or some dpr-11 mixed with vo5 and really load my hair up with it, twist it out and plop on a plastic cap (under my satin scarf) and marinate overnight with it.

rinse in the morning and put my hair in a low manipulation style for a few days. i moisturize everyday with a water/vo5/glycerin mix spritz but really step it up after an aphogee.

hair feels great in about week. i've done about 3 treatments since going natural.

maybe you need to step up your moisture routine a bit and use a different conditioner afterwards.

This stuff saves my hair!! I do aphogee treatments regularly (every 4-6 weeks) and when i stay on top of it i notice i retain more length.

I use whatever my fave moisturizing conditioner is at the time for 10 mins afterwards, the 2 min balancing condit leave much to be desired IMO.

I've been using this for years every four to six weeks or whenever I come out of braids or weaves. I didn't notice a difference in breakage right away but it does help over time. But I did feel a difference in strength. After doing Aphrogee treatments I always like to rollerset/rod set my hair so I won't have to comb it the next week much. And this usually helped too. B/c I think after that protien treatment your hair needs to rest.

Thanks Ladies for all of your replies!

Dillard: Interesting...you may be on to something! I was only experiencing slight breakage to begin with. But um, I don't want any :look:.

Yeah, it seemed to work ok for me too. My hair immediately softened afterwards.

Now, if I can only get rid of these broken hairs in my combs/brushes! :wallbash:

Thanks, Lynnie. But I feel like my moisture game is on point...so much that I think I might be overmoisturizing. My hair always feels very soft and silky, but I run a comb through it, and I'm snap, crackling, and popping all over the place. :ohwell:

Thanks, Kandegirl! I'm going to try it again in two weeks.
