Are Hot Rollers Better Than Flat Ironing My Hair?

Hmmm, Im not sure about that one. Im assuming hot rollers would be more gentle since u arent going thru tiny sections of hair with extreme heat and its less manipulation since u dont have to comb out tiny little sections and then drag an iron through it. Whichever one u decide to do, Id use a heat protectant and if u do flat iron use the lowest temp that will straighten your hair.

Just for a little curl for the evening, I would prefer not to use either. If I had a choice I guess I would use the hot rollers not leaving them on too long.
Do you have any other rollers? You could moisturize your ends with a light cream and roll your hair and sit under the dryer for a bit.
Or you can do the same with satin foam rollers (if you have any) without the dryer and will have curls by the evening. I can get nice curls if I leave them in for a few hours.
Girl, GET SOME CARUSOS! Those will work wonders for you the next time you need to bump things up a bit.

I agree...bc it seems like a waste to use a lot of heat especially just to bump the ends. U could caruso it and comb out the curls to just have a bump on the ends and call it a day. No heat required!

they come with clips.
I LOVE the ones that come with some of the remington setters. Like this one:
I even purchased some of their Kindness Clips to use with my setter>
I don't use my hot rollers anymore, but i don't think I would use any other kind unless they have nice clips like these.

I wound up using the hot rollers. I know I had one when they first came out and now I'm thinking I need to go back to it. Unfortunately i threw it away a few years ago so I will need to purchase another one. I had the caruso back in 1995/1996! I loved it and my hair did as well
