just curious. cones work for me in general but i am considering trying a cone free regimen. but when i decide to straighten, that is the only product where i am like "how can i find one without cones?" so..any suggestions/answers?

I don't know for sure because I don't use heat. But, from what I've learned around here cones are used for heat protectants because they can withstand high temperatures. I really don't think you can find a heat protectant without cones, because it wouldn't actually protect your hair.

i mean i have no issues with cones so if it is not possible or not recommended i will just stick with what i am doing

I'm only speaking for myself. :yep: I just know that cones protect your hair from heat. I don't know enough about beantree to be comfortable with that getting the job done. Maybe some more experts will chime in and give their take on it.
