I think I saw some of her photos in someone else's album & I was admiring her wedge haircut. Her hair is nice and thick.

I've seen her on naturallycurly.com At one point she got a silkener at Curve Salon. The pics are on curve-salon.com and in Soph Black Hair magazine. Her hair is gorgeous before and after, IMO.

That's ISIS and she IS a member of this forum.
I didn't know her hair was natural now. I thought she had a silkener.

She is a member here? Great! I hope she is fine with me putting her link on here. My friend who shared the link with me was not happy that I posted it.

that girl got some serious waves AND curls.. I agree, her head of hair is tight!

VERY NICE. Great example of how fun it can be to be a natural. It's just a matter of finding the right products that work for you.

Shoot, now I'm tempted to buy some of the products she mentioned. Somebody stop me!!!

I'm able to see her pictures. She has lovely thick hair. I shall definetly try more colouring.

she texturizes with a silkener. I am just clarifying because the title of the post said beautiful natural hair and if someone with natural hair follows her routine they may not achieve the same results.

Nonetheless, her hair is absolutely beautiful.

Does anyone know is she truely is a member? It would be nice to know how she does her hair. It is very thick and nice.

The silkener vs. natural topic is NOT suited here. She has nice hair and seems to know how to care for it. There are many ladies here both natual and relaxed who can learn from hair. I can!

Plus I don't want her getting angry and removing her pictures.

Teva ~ ITA, Isis has beautiful hair! Very inspirational! I don't know if Isis is a member here but I know we do have members who I haven't seen post, so it's possible she is.

As for the silkener vs. natural debate: Isis' photos show her natural and texturized - something for everyone.

I didnt take it as a debate at all...it was a good point...especially for us newbies...the title of the thread kind of confused me...and if she is a member an...(I noticed that) she put pics of her texturizer process in her album... she would want to make sure we are accurate when we refer to her pics.

I think we all agree that her hair is gorgeous...we just want to be clear on what the routine is...especially if someone is taking her hair advice...certain products may not work for one head but may work on another...so it is important to have the WHOLE picture so we can do what we can to have gorgeous hair like hers.

I agree. She has beautiful hair and I hope she doesn't remove her pictures.

Those of us that are mentioning the texturizing are not being malicious or trying to start a debate. Think of it this way; 3b's style their hair differently from 4b's. If someone was a 3b and was inappropiately labeled a 4b, then 4b's may think they could achieve the same results as a 3b.

Likewise, natural hair will not perform the same as texturized or relaxed hair. In addition to that texturized hair will not perform the same as relaxed or natural hair.

The moment I see someone state that they are 3b, 3c, relaxed or texturized, i know my hair will not perform the same as their hair. It is not a negative to say she is texturized, it only provides simple background information (i.e. she is 3c or 4a, etc.) for those of us trying to learn new techniques.

Edited to add: Quite frankly, me and probably other naturals wouldn't have opened this thread if it didn't say natural in the topic line. Likewise, there are probably some texturized people that didn't open this thread because they thought it was a natural person.
