I am looking to darken my natural, very curly 4a hair a little bit . I tried jazzing, as I have in the past (I am old LOL) and it didn't really do anything. What is the best black semi or Demi permanent rinse nowadays? Go!

If you use a sulfate free shampoo it fades slowly and evenly over time. I refresh every 8 weeks but I hold off up to 12 weeks if need be. My natural curls stay in tact from day one.
Thanks @Lissa0821 but I would need to use it more frequently than that because my grays come in fast at the roots. I'd probably need to retouch once a month.

Oh and yes, I predominantly own and use sulfate free shampoos but I do have shampoos with sulfates in them.

Taking notes. I've been using Clairol. I don't really have any complaints but if theres something better, I give it a go. And I also really need the clear gloss because my color usually fades fast.

Hi Ladies, will a clear gloss help keep permanent color from fading as well or does it only work on rinses, semi or demi colored haired?
