My hair dreads! I started removing the braids in the mid section of my head. I washed it the other day, and if you felt my hair you would have thought that I had dreaded for 8 months. My hair was so tangled that my hair literally felt like a lock of Bob Marley's dreads. I washed my hair in one direction like I normally do but that just didn't help! It took me 5 hours to detangle this small section of my head. I'll be resorting to large plaits when I wash, but I need a different technique for my relaxer touchup.

Any suggestion on the BEST detangler you've used on your head?

by the way, I'm a 4a/4b. It's going on 4.5 months since my lst touch up

I have the following products in my artillery:
911 leave-in
motions smooth intense conditioner (think that's the name did nothing for me )
Infusium 23 (not a big fan)
IC leave- in (haven't tried it yet)
Lanza creamy leave-in (didn't seem to do anything for me)

Re: Bestest Detangler!!

When I was in a similar situation I used biolage leave-in tonic. It worked wonders on my hair for detangling.

Pantene Smooth & Sleek
Miss Clairol 5X Stronger Conditioner(Rehydrate conditioner for dry damaged hair)(Not the correct name but close) It's in a dark grey bottle. $2 @ wal-mart. It's been hair saving for me.
