Does anyone else feel like breakage is one of the 'silent killers' for your hair? It's maybe not that drastic, but I was just pondering this.

I put my hair back in a ponytail this morning, and I saw some parts in the middle that were about 4" long with no relaxed ends. For the longest time, I've been trying to figure out how/when that happened because I NEVER saw any broken hairs. :ohwell: I noticed that this happened too when I was relaxed. I would feel almost bald spots in my nape, but I could never figure out when it happened.

Have any of you ladies noticed this too?

I agree. Breakage is silent, I wish it would speak up!!:ohwell: I had plenty of hair on my nape and it seemed like overnight it broke off. I had been wearing the same silk scarf for YEARS with no breakage. One day, my mother was lining me up and she was like "what happened to your hair?" I was shocked.
