As I was flat ironing my henna head this weekend, this question came across my mine. We know that Henna attaches itself to the strands of hair depositing color while conditioning.

Does anyone know if in fact Henna can protect the hair from heat damage?

I don't think it does either. You may want to check with HennaSooq our resident expert or Sareca for an answer.

Check out the thread "Do Ya'll Henna" or ask on that thread I am sure they will be able to answer.

Until then, be sure to use something else to protect that hair.
