Can you get a full sew-in shorter than your hair?

I'm BSL and I want to go chin length and I was wondering if this is possible, or will the hair not be long enough to cover the cornrows in the back?

Also should the weave be the exact length I want or do you ladies get a few inches longer?

TIA! :)

of course you can, you can get a sew in at any length, however length you want.

Girl yes! You can. Once your hair is braided up, you can rock whatever length you want.

I did it. I had my wavy weave cut right up to the nape in the back. In fact, that was exactly why I got the sew in. Because my hair was too long to wear out in my military uniform so I needed a shorter look.
