This may be a stupid question so sorry in advance....

What is the difference between glycerin and castille soaps? Are they the same thing?

Well castile soap is a soap made with 100% olive oil. All real soap has glycerin in it. It's a by product created in the process of making real soap. Glycerin is a natural humectant and draws moisture out of the air to the skin. So no they are not the same thing.
