Hey all!!!

I'm hoping someone can help me with this. I'm looking for a sem-/demi-hair dye in a dark black like Jazzings....

BUT

I'm also looking for a cellophane/glaze/shine forumula, but Sebastians Cellophane, John Frieda, and a lot of the other popular brands don't have a Black... just a "brunette."

Anyone have any recommendations? Hopefully none too expensive? (asking a lot! sorry )

get the blue black from jazzing... wait a few days (or your next wash day) and then use the clear jazzing. you'll have a nice dark shinny black that can even cover up bleached hair :D HTH

Thank Momo! That's great advice and cheap too!

Bumping for more replies though, cause I would love to find a way to accomplish this in one wash :-)

what about mixing the clear and the black at one time for more shine?

nope, tried that lol :lachen: all it does it dilute the black. so you get half arsed black and half arsed shine. its better in 2 steps.

i dont know if any better ways though. so if anyone else has a better idea that wont hurt the pocket then let us know...

oooh!!! also, if you add either the black jazzing or add the clear jazzing to your shampoo than every wash will give you a boost of color or shine :yep:

i wanna try this! do you add it all to the bottle, or seperately each wash? also do you think it would work with a conditioner for cowashing?

i would add it to the whole bottle of shampoo. i dont know if it works on co-washes cause i didnt co-wash back then but i'm sure it would still work

What I do is buy Clairol Natural Instincts in the color Midnight, and also the Clear Shine treatment. I use one bottle of the developer and half of the black and clear mixed in. My hair comes out looking a great, and the conditioner that comes with it really softens the hair nicely afterwards.

I've never tried this before, does a permanent shine dry out
relaxed hair?

Also, isn't there a clear shine that can be used regardless of hair
colour?

I second the suggestions for Colorshowers/Natural Instincts.

If ya want some top notch bling AND color, Redken Shades EQ have color formula's to make the perfect black/blue black/classic black/inky black etc. that you want. FABULOUS product.
