can someone please tell me about cholesterol conditioners.
i just bought the lustersilk shea and mango cholesterol i've been hearing so much about and i got the silk elements one too.

are they like protein treatments?
can i overload on them?
can i use them every week?

i asked the last question because you get so much for such a low price and i think it'll probably be good to mix them with honey and coconut oil on dry hair befor i shampoo.

so tell me what you know:look:

are they like protein treatments? some believe them to be considered a "protein" - it really depends on which one you using, i suppose. check out the ingredients. i tend to say a solid "no" to the is cholesterol a protein question.

can i overload on them? nope. but, just like everything else, too much of a good thing can be bad.

can i use them every week? yes

cholesterol is a lipid (fat) and is considered a moisturizing.

some cholesterol conditioners have protein in them and others don't. you have to read the ingredients to determine if a cholesterol conditioner is a protein treatment.

yes cholesterol can build up because it's a fatty substance that fill the week spots in the hair strand.

the lustrasilk shea butter mango cholesterol is moisturizing. it doesn't contain any protein.
