Hey ladies,

Has anyone tried this product? (pic below). I just bought it for 2.99, and i think the ingredients look good, but im looking for alternative uses/reviews for it. When i used it, my hair felt silky and SUPER thick, but i cant really tell if its working cuz i can "hear" my hair when i touch it (i hope that makes some sense)

Ingredients:
Purified Water , Canola Oil , Sorbitan Sesquioleate , Castor Oil , Polyquaternium 32 , Paraffinum Liquidum , Aloe Vera Gel , Panthenol , Coconut Oil , Polysorbate 80 , Propylene Glycol , Diazolidinyl Urea , Iodopropynyl Butylcarbamate , D&C Red No. 33 , Fragrance

TIA

i know alot of pple on this site use this product but i dont like it. i find that most oil moisturizers make my hair feel wet and i cant stand it.
if i do use an oil moisturizer i prefer it to feel more like a lotion so it's thicker.
you should try elasta qp recovery oil moisturizer. alot of pple use that also and its thicker like a lotion and the ingredients are amazing. the smell is great too
hope this helps
oh and the price is about 3 dollars as well

I recently began using it. I love it, it works great for my hair. I have super thick hair and it feels very soft and well moisturized when i use BB. It's $3 so you really can't go wrong.

I've used it back in my relaxed days and it was pretty good. As of now, I tried it a couple times since being natural, it was just okay. I still have it in my stash, never know when I might just use it to concoct something up!

It's ok. It's moisturizing but I notice after a few days my hair is a little dry and dull. I guess it's the mineral oil in it. If you're a frequent washer, this probably won't happen. I like the growth lotion much better, it's just harder to find.

I agree with you.

Mmmmm... "Paraffinum Liquidum" :lick: I've always had a thing for foreign tongue, er...I mean Latin :look:

Sneaky, sneaky

Some companies are trying to X the word mineral oil out now I guess. I was looking at the list of ingredients on 2 of my Miss Jessies products and saw it. I was like WHAT?

I use it and i really like it. I'm looking at my bottle and there is no mineral oil/Paraffinum Liquidum, coconut oil and a few of the last ingredients. Have they changed the formula? Maybe we still have the old one over here

Same here. I have used this (until the past 2 years or so, I now use ORS Olive Oil Lotion ) for years and have never known it to have Mineral Oil in it. I found an old bottle of mine and here is the list of ingredients: (I guess the ingredients have changed :ohwell:) :

Water, Canola Oil, Sorbitan Sesquioleate, Castor Oil, Polyquarternium 32, Polysorbate 80, Aloe Vera Gel, DL Panthenol, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methyl Paraben, Propyl Paraben, Fragrance, and D&C Red #33.

It looks like they have added the mineral oil, along with propylene glycol and coconut oil, and moved the polysorbate 80 down the list. I am not a scientist and have no idea what that would mean. :perplexed:
