Hi. What conditioners do you recommed for co-washing that you have had good experiences with (your staple) and does not weigh the hair down but cleanse it at the same time?

Any of the cheapies. Suave, v05. It has to be cheap for me to use it daily since I go through more than half a bottle a wash.

Suave Tropical Coconut & Suave Humectant
work for me... I've even used Mane N Tail...
I'd do an Apple Cider Vinegar Rinse if you
want to get clean.

Yup - any of the cheapies. I like White Rain, as I find most of the V05's have a VERY strong smell to them - nothing bad, but I can't handle smelling like fake strawberries for any extended period of time. Big Lots and the Dollar Tree/Dollar Store are my sure shot spots for conditioner.

And none of you experience any build up after a few times doing it a week?

also, do any of you deep condition after your co-wash? Is that to much?

I have lost my mind and have been using my Eluecence MB conditioner...Must go pick up nsome cheapie soon. I was using DDTA but um...my supply is gone. So I will be searching for a good alternative.

No build up for me. I have not clarified this summer at all. I've only done one DC treatments this summer.

Co-signing w/ cheapies. My fave is Suave Tropical Coconut. I havent experienced too much build up but I clarify/chelate about once a month.

I use Herbal Essences Hello Hydration for co-washes. It's very moisturizing and has lots of slip. :yep: I don't notice any build-up after using it. I only do co-washes 1-2 times a week.

ETA: I never DC after co-washes. Only after shampooing.

ITA on the Herbal Essences conditioners, Hello Hydration and Fruit Fusions in the lavender & pink bottles for dry hair are great.

I use cheapies, too. I absolutely love V05 Strawberries and Cream. By the way, chelate means clarify.

White Rain Tropical Coconut and Daily Defense Tender Apple are my favorite cheapies.
I will give my hair treat and use Elucence or Nexxus Humectin occasionally.
