I've decided to start co washing because my workouts are tearing my hair up. I will have to start co washing on the days I workout. I was thinking about using cholestorol(is that moisturizing?). Give me some of your favorite cheapies.:)

Suave Tropical Coconut conditioner. A big bottle is $1.49 or something like that. It smells heavenly and leaves the hair really moisturized.

Same here. I'm natural also.

Suave Tropical Coconut, it's cheap and has humectants. Before I co-wash though I heat up a tub of Fantasia's Deep Penetrating Creme and apply it to my dry hair, let it sit for 20 to 30 mins. Then I'll wash it out and co-wash with the Suave in the shower.

I am going to have to try Suave since everyone is raving about it! :lachen: I use LeKair or Queen Helene colestroal (whoa bad spelling...no coffee yet) mix with a domincan conditioner (silk worm or 10 en 1).

VO5 balsam, freesia, & strawberries and champagne, & kiwi clarifying conditioner. 22oz for a buck at Dollar Tree or $1.25 or so at Big Lots

Suave Coconut Condish. But I usually use up a FAMILY sized bottle in less than 2 weeks. :perplexed

Thanks ladies.:) I think I will try the Suave. I have some generic humectress too. Once I use that up I will purchase the suave.

I actually used V05 Moisture Milk Strawberries and Cream, as reccommended on this board, last night on my daughter who is Natural with long thick hair and it was so easy to comb through and I CO washed this morning on my hair which is relaxed and I am airdrying in a pony tail and it is drying nice and soft....it smells delish too!

I want to try suave Milk and Honey but I just can't find it.
there was a thread a while ago about how this was discontinued. But you can find it at www.medichest.com which seels discontinued products

I use VO5 strawberries and cream but I personally hate the smell!.. I want to switch to Suave Coconut or something else like that

Dollar Tree is the truth! I found this condish there called Hairvitalize Hydrating Conditioner. I use the Fruit Passion (I think it's supposed to be passion fruit! But that's what the bottle says) which is green. 32 oz for a dollar.

I tried it and LOVE IT. I went back and bought all they had in stock. (Does this make me a PJ?) They didn't get any more for a long while, and one day my DH comes home with 12 bottles! They had gotten more in and he bought out the whole store!

If you see it at your store, I highly reccomend it!
I'm natural, btw.

V05 Tea Tree and V05 Strawberries and cream

Although, I am probably going to switch to that Harris Teeter conditioner everyone raves about once i run out of V05

I can't stick to one product for too long..lol..I was in CVS on my lunch and just bought some Anti-Breakage Tresemme Condish to try the co-wash with, it's $5 a bottle. But I was planning on switching up with some White Rain after I was done with my Suave anyway. I LOVE how they smell. All this doing my hair myself is causing me to be a PJ. Lord know's I ain't need no more conditioner.

Another vote for Suave Milk & Honey. Now that it's been discontinued, I've been using Garnier Fructis Long & Strong. I may try the Suave Tropical Coconut when I run out.

HE Hello Hydration has long been one of my favorites. I also like Garnier Length & Strength or Curl & Shine. I just got the Tresemme Remoisture and love, love, love it. Excellent slip!!

Oh, longhairluva, I looove your hair!!

VO5 Strawberries & Cream, Tea Therapy, Creamy Fresh Peaches, Free Me Freesia etc...(I love 'em all  ) As for as Suave conditioners, I like the Tropical Coconut, and the extinct Milk & Honey. As for as White Rain conditioners, my favorite is the Energizing Citrus, my ultimate fav was the Intensive Moisture formula for women of color, but I can't find it anywhere, I guess it was a one time thing, maybe a trial run or something. :look:

I will be going to the dollar store when I get off and purchase some of these things since co washing will be a two day a week thing for me.

Right now I'm using Garnier Long and Strong, but once I'm done I'll be using V05 Kiwi Lime Squeeze or Suave Lilac and Lavender.

Suave and V05 quit working for me. SO now I co-wash with Aveda conditioners. My hair feels great but the expense is getting ridiculous.

I just got my Yes To Carrots so I'm going to try that and report back here.

I just got the Sauve citrus something and the queen helen chlosterol(orange). I just used the suave and my hair is really soft right now. I think I will keep it. I family size bottle was 1.50. You just can't beat that at all. The cholestorol was 2.00. It used to be a dollar. I'm still happy though. Thanks ladies.

Primarily the Tresemme' Vitamin E Moisture Rich, but I alternate between different conditioners quite often. Tresemme had a Smooth & Silky conditioner that works pretty good. And the Aussie Moist Conditioner is another one I'll stock up on if I see it on sale.
