Coconut Milk

I was wondering has anyone out there ever made their own coconut milk? I like how coconut milk makes my hair feel but it is a bit messy. I found this article on how to make your own coconut milk and you can make it as thick or thin as you like.

Girl this here Island gal done made some coconut milk.

. The way I know how is a little tedious though. We actually grate the coconut flesh(this is the tedious part), then wring the product in a clean cloth to squeeze out the milk. I know, old fashioned.
