Coffee maker to brew your Ayurvedic Powders?

Hi ladies, have you used a coffee maker to brew your ayurvedic powders? do you get the same results as if you had strained them from your boiler?
Today I used a coffee maker and I dont know if I am getting the full benefits from the powder because this is the first time that have used them as a rinse
