I was talking to my friend about dyeing my hair. Since my grays are most prominent in the middle of my hair, I sometimes miss coverage of them. I was wondering if anyone ever dyed their hair in twists style to ensure complete coverage. I am thinking it would work for me because I won't miss any grays and I could see them more easily. If this idea is crazy, please give me some coloring advice!:yep::giggle:

Why not apply the dye in sections?

Divide your hair into 4 sections, apply dye, rinse repeat on remaining sections.

A little time consuming but I doubt you'll be missing those grays.

i wouldn't do it. too afraid of not rinsing out a the dye.

Why not do it in sections and then twist or clip the section out of the way so you won't miss any.

Sounds like it would be a recipe for disaster. There has to be a better was just do it in sections and use clips.

Color your hair whilst it's twisted? That sounds no bueno :nono: I would say take the time and do it in sections :)

I figured it was worth a try. A lot of naturals wash their hair in twists or condition in twists. I figured I could ask the question.:lachen: Besides, I would be too chicken to try it.:giggle:

Yea I think some ppl color in twists, but for more of a highlighted look. I don't think it would work for an even all over color.
