The purpose of CO washes is that since shampoo can be drying to the hair and conditioner can clean just as well but not as drying to use conditioner in place of shampoo.

Method - You would wash your scalp with conditioner just as you would with shampoo

Products- I use any cheap conditioner for my CO washes - Suave and VO5 or any conditoner that isn't too heavy that I am trying to get rid of in my closet.

Well it is supposed to help with the moisture level for the hair. As opposed to traditional shampoo, conditioner washes doesn't strip the hair too much of the natural oils. This method isn't recommended for fine-haired folks, this will weigh their hair down big time. This method is popular with folks with natural hair. Clear as mud :D?
