The scissors were calling me. I don't know why I did that, but I did. I have tried to leave the scissors alone and have been sucessful for 8 months until 2 weeks ago. Those scissors were calling me. I was semi straightening the back of my hair (with a curling iron) to check the length and i was so happy that I was close to apl, but i saw that i had a few split ends. my hair is pretty thick and i was surprised at how even its been growing, but in spite of all my excitement and happiness, I picked up the scissors and started cutting. whyyyeeee? i know my scissor happy tendencies... i just couldn't resist.

i went on to semi straighten the rest of my hair and continued to cut. i was about 2 1/2 inches from apl in the back and about 1 1/2 inches past chin length on the sides. now, its chin length on the sides and shoulder length in the back.

i liked it after i finished, but how am i supposed to reach my goal if i can't...put...down... the...scissors! i have to take pictures of my afters and figure out how to upload my befores.

is anyone else scissor happy? or a recovering scissor addict?

I'm not an addict but if i see a split i do destroy it!

You will reach your goals, if all of your ends were not split don't trim everything.

I'm sure you will reach apl in no time , just say no to the scissor snippng!

I hate the scissors....I trim like 3 times a year maybe 1/2 inch or so.
