Curling 2- strand twists

Hi, I Read in a book somewhere that you can curl 2 strand twists with hot curlers if they are small enough. Has anyone done this? Also, will this work with caruso rollers as well?

Well I don't use a curling iron, but if I want to curl mine I just put perm rods in overnight. But I don't do this much b/c my twists kinda curl anyway and I am too lazy.

I would just use sponge rollers with end papers overnight. The curls would last a couple of days & then drop, but gave the twists lots of body.
