I used to do a similar technique to hers as well but I was no where near as thorough as she is, i just twirled random curls where my hair needed it. It wasn't time consuming at all compared to hers.

Yep, this is what I did too. Also, I couldn't use the conditioners she suggested (too drying and my hair needs oils/moisture). I used a gel and a butter to do this.

I ran across her blog a few years ago. Great tips which helped me, but I just heard about her book now so I haven't read it.

I wonder what would be in the book that's not already on her website, since it's so packed full of info already.

She was one of the first people I came across as I was researching our hair so she and chicoro are special to me.
She doesn't have my hair type though but her hair is fab!!!!!! love it!
