I bought some curly pudding during the BOGO Christmas sale, but now I've nearly run out. I love how it makes my texlaxed hair look, but I don't want to reorder it because I'm cheap. Does anyone know how I can get my hair to look like that (defined curls, minimal frizz) with products that can be bought at any bss? I generally don't like to order hair products online because I need to smell them and read the ingredients, and take them back if they don't work as promised.

First of all...your sig...:lachen:

I've never used the curly pudding, but I did mix up a batch of this recipe, which is supposed to be a good substitute:

12 ounces of any curl activator gel
3 ounces of your favorite oil
4 ounces of Fruit of the Earth Vitamin E oil gel
3-6 drops of any essential oil or fragrance oil

Just dump them in a bowl and mix--I used a hand mixer to get everything blended properly.

I found this recipe on NP. I use it on soaking wet hair during the summer if I do wash and go's, and it's a fairly good moisturizer on dry hair year round. And it's so easy!
