TRANSITION OVER! 11-22-14
I've been trying for 3 months as to what I wanted to do with my hair. BKT was not it and being a pressed natural was too much work, so I just texlaxed. I did it myself with help from You Tube videos. It turned out OK, but my left side has a little more texture than I'd like. I wimped out 3 weeks from my 1 year no relaxer goal, but I really wanted to wear my hair strait with less manipulation. I'll get my hubby to take a few pics of my hair. I am pleased with my progress and growth, though. I will attempt to fix my under processed side in a few months. It just feels really good to be able to style my hair in less than an hour again.:ohwell: I can still do my twists if I want, too. That will help me to stretch my relaxers. I'm not sure how long I'll stretch, but 4 months will be the minimum.

I thought I changed my mind alot, you got me beat! I hope you have found what works for you!!

I've finally made my mind up. This is the first time I relaxed with a clear mind. I prefer strait styles on me more than textured. I am glad that I stayed natural for 6 months. It ended my natural quandary. I always wondered if I could be a successful natural and I could. I just prefer strait styles with less heat and time to set. Now that is behind me and I'm looking ahead with a goal to reach shoulder length first.

I'll get them later on today. LOL. My hair got rained on, but I think it held up pretty good with Sabino moisture block. I also went to a Mets game at the new ball park, Citifield. Me, my best friend, hubby's nephew, and my hubby had a ball!:yep::yay::lachen:

Texlaxing is great. I finally decided to transition into it and glad I did. Congrats!

I changed my name on purpose. I can't be NAtrlChallenge with relaxed hair.:lachen: I plan on staying relaxed for good because it just fits me better. I still have a lot of thickness and texture in my hair, but I think wash n gos are out of the question. I'm OK with that.:yep:
