I think that my hair type is 4 a/b but I am not 100% sure. How often should a deep conditioner be done to the hair

Could oils be used for deep CO? If so,which oils are best to use and how often should they be used & how much?

Warmest regards

Hey tishee! I have 4b? hair and I deep condiditon once a week. I think heat is best because it helps the conditioner/oils to penetrate. Yes, oils can be used for deep condition! The best oils are jojoba, coconut, castor, and evoo. I usually just saturate my hair with it before I shampoo and put a plastic cap and a towel over my head. I heat the oils up first, though. You can use these oils every day actually. You may want to dilute with water and put it in a spray bottle. HTH!

I like Elasta QP DPR or any African best hair mayonnaise mixed with a shot of oil (olive, jojoba, coconut) under a heating cap. I usually do it every other week (only because I don't usu. have time to do it every week). And I ALWAYS use low heat when doing this.
Good luck!
