Deep Conditioning ?? Hooded Dryer vs. Baggy

Is deep conditioning with a baggy on for say 45 mins just as effective as sitting under the dryer for 20-30 mins? Please share your thoughts. I am trying to avoid sitting under that hot dryer tonight, but if its not the same then hot hooded dryer here i come.

I use Silk elements Hair Mayo as my deep condish... TIA

From my experience, sitting w/ a deep conditioner for 5 minutes under a hooded dryer does SO MUCH MORE than even 3 hrs walking around and doing chores with a baggy. I think it has something to do w/ the heat's ability to make the hair follicle swell/cuticle open and allow moisture in.
