And I don't mean post partum shedding. But a texture change...

Some co workers were telling a newly pregnant co worker their pregnancy and delivery horror stories and one of the things they mentioned Is that there hair is not the same.

They has their kids several years ago. I didn't experience this. Have you?

My texture didn't change but I have crazy dry scalp, it started at 6 weeks prego and was horrible, I could wash my hair and literally as I was roller setting I would see flakes coming of my scalp...my daughter is 18 months and still I have dry scalp, it's not the bad but only because I've learned how specifically take care of my dry scalp

No, mine didn't change at all and I didn't experience post partum shedding either. Only thing I noticed was that it was a little thicker but I contribute that to the prenatals/hormones.

I don't think my texture changed, but I can't really say because this is my first time being natural since I was a child. The only thing that effected me was the post partum shedding...I went bald. When it started growing back I texturized it, then BC'd because my natural hair felt better. If there was a change in texture, it might be that my natural hair is softer....or that I just know how to care my hair a lot better now.

No texture change, or shedding but the most RAPID growth I have ever seen. LOL
I was natural with all my pregnancy's and I didn't see anything out of the ordinary.

I haven't experienced a change. I think it grew just a little faster, but that's about it. Oh, and I retained more, but I think that had more to do with my KISS routine.

No ,not the texture, atleast not that i noticed, but it s much frizzier .:/

Mine didnt change but i have shedding now after my 3rd I never had shedding with my other 2

I did not have a problem with shedding, but had dry scalp and dandruff really bad during pregnancy and it did not go away after I had my daughter.

No texture change but the shed after this 3rd baby has been UNREAL! My hair has really thinned out

Had a baby last sept., no texture change for me.

The density of my hair changed. The texture is looser and my hair is much thinner after two kids and my kids are nine and six. My sister on the other hand who always had thick strong hair had her baby almost a year ago and never had any post partum shedding.

Sent from my HTC EVO using LHCF. any spelling errors should be blamed on auto-correct.

Did you change your regimen during pregnancy?

I am not yet a mother, but one of my good friends who has a 2 year old was just talking about this last week! She said her front curls became looser after giving birth and showed them to me...they were noticeably different! But it was only in the front of her head. So strange, but I thought I would share :look:

My hair turned drier. No matter what I did it was always dry and I never had that problem before. Also, I also experienced the crazy shedding.

My hair became very stringy after giving birth two mths ago. Couldn't get it to curl or nothing

My hair was wavy, nearly straight during both of my pregnancies and got curly again shortly after I gave birth.

No texture change occurred at all. I did have a boat load of postpartum shedding though.

Hmmm... I wouldn't count it as a change per se. I stopped relaxing and rocked wigs and braids and I finally noticed my texture

ETA: the shed was ridiculous... My son is three and Im still recovering  And it was so thick and grew so fast while I was preggo...
