DMV Area ladies...trim/layers cut?

I want some layers put into my hair before i get my highlights so they can really pop. I don't want ANY length taken off, just some layers added. MAYBE a trim for evenness..but not really lol. I was looking up Hair Cuttery and Supercuts, but does anyone have a place they would recommend. I wear my hair curly and straight (predominantly curly though), but i would be cutting the layers of straightened hair.
