Do relaxer tubs spoil??

I have a tub of Affirm Fiberguard Mild that's about 2 years old now. I only used it once when I had my sister relax my hair. I am going to get a relaxer this week and plan to bring my own. Since I've decided to continue texlaxing my hair, I want to use the mild version of Affirm (which was used the last time I relaxed) can I still use this tub, or do you think I should get a new one????
