Chronically at BSL -_-
I just have one quick question and don't worry, I have been searching and researching for hours and have yet to come up with a good answer, so here we go:

I have a little curly twa...please don't ask me my hair type because I really don't know and I can't figure it out: it's just thick (and I mean thick, even as short as it is) curls and my problem is the FRIZZ!!! I co-wash in the morning and them use some conditioner and seal with EVOO because I figure, I don't have that much hair, I don't need to do much but it is so darn frizzy! and it's frizzy because I manipulate it, but I have to manipulate it to moisturize it!

What can a girl do?

In other words, can somebody help a sista out with frizzies? I got a bad case. Thanks!

I have the same thing! You can't tell by my siggy pic becuase it so far but i ahve curly frizzy hair. I think its because I have type 3 and 4 hair. This is what I do. I co wash every single day. I then use infusium 23 moisture in my hair, and seal with castor oil or do grow oil. I then sometimes use motions deep penetraiting treatment (I think thats what its called) in my hair. Its a heavy white cream that tames my frizz. It's a deep treatment so the jar says to wash it out after 5-10 min or so, but I keep it in all day.....Hope it helps.

LOL at the title of your thread, so cute. But anywho, my hair, although no longer a TWA, was similar...honestly...I was all about some gel like it was nobody's business! Even just a soft hold, like with aloe vera gel, kept those frizzies away! Long Aid is also a good one b/c it has a soft hold. I know no one likes walking around with helmet head, so there are alternatives!! :)

Thank you, and actually EllePixie I was hoping you would chime in because we have very similar textures and since you've done all the leg work (i.e. testing products...thank you by the way) I knew you would know a thing or two!

Lovely-locks that is actually a good idea using a deep conditioner because I know some of my frizzies are a result of dryness...thanks!

i dont have a twa anymore, but when i did, and even now when i rock a WnG i co-wash, rinse some about 80-90% of the condish out with cold water (or rinse all of it out and appliy a leave in if you dont like leaving in rinse out conditioners), seal with castor oil (olive oil might work too but my results are AMAZING with castor oil...soft shiny moisturized hair for days for ME) and then rinse again lightly w/ cold water...i got the cold water rinsing technique from nappychronicles on youtube and i think that might be the key...if you shingle/finger curl/manipulate/use a deman brush do that after the sealing and before the 2nd cold water rinse...and then shake the excess water out and air dry...if your hair is super short you it should dry relatively soon but if not you can use a diffuser...i used one b4 and had basically no frizz...but dont touch your hair until it dries or u are asking for frizz

ETA: you can use gel too, just apply after the leave-in/condish
