Do You Buy the 4lb Linange Relaxer?

For those who use this relaxer, do you get the 4lb jar? If so, how long (how many applications) does it last?

And what measures do you take to keep the product fresh?

Also, do you use the lye or no-lye version?

I buy the 1lb jar because I only relax my daughter's hair every 6 months. So I wouldn't use a 4lb jar fast enough to validate purchasing it. I purchase the lye version. Since I mix oil in it, I separate it out in coloring bowl and mix and then just tighten the jar back and place it back in arsenal of products with no issues.
