Do you think your hair is long?

I like my length. I guess because after wearing weaves for 10 years I am just happy that it's finally MY length. I think its definitely on the way to getting long.

The reason I keep a fotki is b/c it's hard for me to tell from month to month if my hair is growing. I can only notice when I compare pictures over a length of time. Plus shrinkage hides a LOT of length. I felt like I had been at the same length for over a year (b/c my hair tends to shrink up to the same length just above my shoulders) but when I straightened my hair I was truly shocked that it was at BSL.

It felt long (in comparison to how my hair is daily), and I knew that others would see it as long. I personally won't see my hair as long until I reach collar bone length unstretched. But with my shrinkage I'll probably need to be well past midback for that to happen.

Shrinkage is a _______, though. That's all I have to say about that right now.

Certainly not now after the unfortunate trim I got a few months back... but even before, i felt my hair was short at APL... I'm short in stature, so I know that I'd have to have hair to my butt before I would consider it long.

I gotta say I agree with this one. People always tell me my hair is long, my husband, my mother...lol...she asks why i am so obsessed with hair b/c my hair is already long. But yeah guys, it doesn't "FEEL" long to me either! LOL....and not when I walk around and see other people with hair down to their butt. Until my hair reaches my butt (and especially b/c I'm short), I will not think of my hair as being long.
